To set up Fetch Multiroom, refer to the Fetch User Guides for the Multiroom User Guide.
With your boxes connected to the same local network, the sharing options need to be selected on each box in Menu > Settings > Multiroom > Options.
Once that’s done, restart your Fetch boxes and allow up to five minutes for them to find each other over your network and for any recordings from one box to be shared to My Stuff on another.
Frequently asked questions
You can have up to three Fetch boxes from Telstra on one account. All boxes must also be in the same house or location and on the same network. Each box needs to be set up and activated by with its own activation code.
No, Multiroom requires that all boxes come from Telstra and are on the same account and network. It’s not possible to mix boxes from ISPs or retailers together.
Yes, you can continue watching your recordings, movies or shows from the Store, and programs on TV Apps on a connected box. You can turn this feature on or off on your Fetch box through the Multiroom settings.
Yes, you can continue watching your recordings, movies and shows from the Store, Movie Box, and programs on TV Apps on the Fetch Mobi App too.
You can turn this feature on or off through the Multiroom settings on your Fetch box, or the Media Settings in the Fetch Mobi App.
Find your most recently watched programs in the Continue Watching carousel in My Stuff.
If Multiroom is cancelled:
- Any purchased content will only be available on the device it was purchased on.
- Any recorded TV content will only be accessible on the device it was recorded on.
