Take me to
To call Australia
To call an Australian number from overseas, use country code +61, then the phone number without the first 0.
For example: To call Telstra on 0439 125 109, you’d dial +61 439 125 109.
To call other countries
To call a number in any country you’re not in, use the + symbol with their country code. Then the phone number without the first 0.
To call a number in the country you are in, dial it the same way you would at home. Include the area code or enter a mobile number like you normally would.
For example: If you’re overseas and want to call New Zealand (country code 64), you’d dial +64, then the phone number without the first 0. If you were calling them from within New Zealand, you’d only have to dial their phone number.
