An app-specific password is a unique password for a specific mail application like Outlook or Apple Mail. It allows you to access your Telstra email without using your main account password, reducing the risk of unauthorized access.

To set up an app-specific password:

    1. Sign in to webmail
    2. Select Settings
    3. Select Accounts
    4. In the app-specific password section, select Generate Password
    5. Use the unique password in your chosen mail application.

Note: When doing a password reset, it’s important to remove any app-specific passwords in your webmail settings to prevent login issues.
