By submitting an entry to this promotion, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

This promotion is being run by Telstra Corporation Limited (ABN 33 051 775 556) of Telstra Building, 242 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia. ("we", “us” or “our”).

Dates you need to know

The promotion starts at 12:01 AM AEST on 20 September 2021. Entries close and must be received by 11:59PM AEDST 31 October 2021 ("promotion period").

The draw will take place at 242 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia on 17 November 2021 at 10AM AEDST. Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winner will be notified by telephone and in writing within 2 days of the draw. Winner’s name will be published in www.telstra.com.au/google on 24 November 2021.

Who can enter?

Entry is open to all Australian residents, over the age of 18, other than our officers, employees or contractors and other companies associated with the promotion, and their immediate families.

How do you enter?

To enter, you must, during the promotion period:

• Entrants must fill in the Sign up for latest Google product news form with their details and accept the terms and conditions for the competition.
• Only one entry per person will be accepted. Entries are accepted at the time of receipt by us.
• Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed to be invalid. We may also disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions.

The prize

The first valid and correct entry drawn will win a Marvel Stadium sports experience in Melbourne, VIC for 2 people valued at up to $2,800 depending on date and point of departure. The prize will be provided by Google Australia Pty Ltd (“Google”) and includes:

• 2 x return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city to Melbourne (only provided if winner resides outside of VIC). If the winner is from VIC, then the prize does not include airfares and the airfare component of the prize is not redeemable for cash;
• 1 x night’s 3-to-5-star accommodation; and
• 1 x double pass VIP entry to a sporting event taking place between 1 December 2021 to 30 June 2022 in the Google Box at Marvel Stadium. Google will work with the prize winner to determine which sporting event based on scheduling and availability (of the individual, Google and Marvel Stadium). Entry to Marvel Stadium and the Google Box will be subject to acceptance of and compliance with Marvel Stadium and Google’s terms of use and entry.

Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash.

All other costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to spending money, meals, travel insurance and in-room charges are the responsibility of the winner and their guest. Prize must be taken within the dates specified and is subject to booking and flight availability. Prize must be taken to coincide with the sporting event agreed between Google and the winner. The winner and their companion must travel together, departing from and returning to the same departure point. Blackout periods may apply. The winner will not accrue any frequent flyer points from taking the prize. The winner is responsible for ensuring they have a valid identification and any relevant insurance. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of each individual prize and service provider.

The Marvel Stadium entries are subject to Google’s, the event venue and ticket terms and conditions. Telstra, Google and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner and/or their companion for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in the prize.

The total prize pool value is up to $2,800 (incl. GST).

Unclaimed prize draw

Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason whatsoever a winner does not redeem a prize or an element of the prize by the time stipulated by us, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.

If required, an unclaimed prize draw may take place on 13 February 2022 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners’ names will be published on the Telstra website Google page www.telstra.com.au/google on 20 February 2022.

Photographs and comments from the winner

If you are the winner, we may contact you about the promotion, and take photos of you, and use your comments and photos for promotional and marketing purposes. If we do so, you grant us a royalty free, perpetual, and irrevocable licence to use your comments and the photos for such purposes.

Use and disclosure of your information

We may use and disclose the information you provide in submitting an entry on the terms and for the purposes set out in our Privacy Statement, and as required to conduct this promotion, which will include disclosing the information of the winner to Google for the purpose of fulfilling the prize. Supply of an alternative prize

If we are unable to provide a winner with the prize, Google will supply an alternative prize of a Google Smart Home bundle valued at up to $2,075 unless to do so would be prohibited by law and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

• 1 x Google Nest Cam
• 1 x Google Doorbell
• 1 x Google Nest Wi-Fi

• 1 x Google Pixel Buds A-Series
• 1 x Google Pixel Charger

Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash.

The total prize pool value is up to $2,075 (incl. GST).

Tampering with entries

We reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.

If there is a dispute about the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the name provided on the original entry.

Suspension, cancellation, modification or termination of the promotion

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are not able to conduct the promotion as anticipated, we may, unless to do so would be prohibited by law, disqualify any entrant, or subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the promotion.

Liability excluded

To the extent permitted by law, we and Google will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion including the prize or the taking of the prize. We and Google accept no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize.
