We test every mobile phone on our network and mark only the best with a Blue Tick. A Blue Tick is our stamp of approval for phones that provide superior voice coverage and optimal call quality in rural and regional areas.
Our team of experts thoroughly test phones to ensure they deliver the best voice coverage in regional and rural areas.
Phones are tested on our Mobile Network. We test in a lab, then replicate those tests in rural areas.
Your phone's antenna strength can make a huge difference to connectivity. Even slightly better signal can result in kilometres of extra coverage.
We've got options to suit you. Set your filters to 'Regional' and browse phones outright or on a plan.
Recommended for rural handheld coverage.
Blue Tick certified phones are tested across our 4G VoLTE network.
Refer to our coverage maps to check the available coverage in your area.
To get the most out of your Blue Tick phone, try these tips:
Your body can absorb and block a phone's signal. It's what engineers call a "detuning" effect and can have an overall impact on your phone's coverage. So next time you pick up your phone when you're on the edge of coverage, remember not to squeeze it too tight.
If you don't get coverage inside and only when you step outside your home, it might help to turn on Wi-Fi calling and SMS. This lets you send texts or make phone calls using your home internet, even when you don't have mobile coverage. Refer to What is Wi-Fi calling and SMS?
An external antenna or repeater is much larger than the antenna in your phone and can pick up coverage your phone can't. Read more on our GO Repeaters.
