A Microsoft 365 tenant is the dedicated space within Microsoft's cloud services assigned to an organisation. A tenant gives your business the means to manage its data, user accounts and applications in the cloud.
When you book a Essential Customer Set-up, we'll set up your Microsoft 365 tenant, including your:
- organisational profile
- tenant subscriptions
- user accounts, and
- Microsoft 365 licenses.
We can also help you configure groups, custom domains, and client connectivity.
The initial configuration of your tenant provides your business with a foundation in the cloud. Once you're set up, your IT support of choice and workforce can fine tune end-to-end solutions.

No, this is a once-off remote installation service. We’ll perform a service validation as part of your installation to make sure the software is installed correctly.
- To be eligible for a Telstra Install – Microsoft 365 service, you must take up a new Basic, Standard or Premium Microsoft 365 business plan.
- The Telstra Install – Microsoft 365 service is only available for current compatible Microsoft 365 business cloud licenses that are purchased through Telstra, Microsoft or an authorised third-party cloud service provider (CSP).
- Business customers must validate all information for installation via the completion of a Presales Checklist. This will need to be done before Telstra Install service begins to provide us with accurate IT information and access to relevant system to ensure your business has working internet connectivity.
- Telstra Install is performed remotely. Therefore, businesses must be available to the elected administrator in charge of their installation for orientation, remote assistance and training purposes.
