How to get the Spotify Premium offer

    Sign in with your Telstra ID through the Telstra Offers Hub to make sure you’re eligible for the Spotify Premium offer.

  2. Redeem the Spotify Premium offer

    Choose which service you’d like to add Spotify Premium to and select Redeem. You’ll be taken to a webpage where you can redeem the offer.

Follow these steps to start your Spotify Premium subscription with Telstra: 

  1. In a browser, go to Telstra Offers Hub
  2. Sign in with your Telstra ID
  3. Choose the service you’d like to add your Spotify Premium Individual subscription to and select Redeem
  4. Enter the one-time PIN verification sent via SMS. If redeeming against a home internet service, the verification PIN will be sent to the contact mobile or email address listed on your account
  5. You’ll be taken to the Spotify webpage to complete the redemption of the offer and start your subscription 
  6. You’re ready to start streaming.

Following the introductory promotional period, the subscription will auto-renew at Spotify with Telstra standard month-to-month fees ($13.99 from 1 August 2024 for Premium Individual) unless otherwise changed or cancelled.

Streaming means playing music via the internet, without having to download it first. This gives you instant access to millions of songs. All you have to do is hit play.

Spotify Premium has benefits that give you more control over the music. For example, you can download music to play offline when you don’t have an internet connection. You can also play any song, any time you like, without needing to shuffle or skip. There are no ads when listening to music, and the sound's better too (320 kbps), to be precise. 

Follow these steps to update your payment method from Spotify to Telstra:
1.Go to Spotify Account Page
2.Click Cancel Premium to downgrade your subscription to a free account
3.Once your Spotify account is switched to Free at the end of your Spotify billing cycle you can return to Telstra MyOffers to activate 
You will keep your existing Spotify account when you start paying for Premium on your Telstra bill – This will not impact any of your playlists or content preferences.

Follow these steps to stop your Spotify Premium subscription with Telstra: 

  1. In a browser, go to Telstra My Offers 
  2. Or sign in to the My Telstra app with your Telstra ID
  3. Under My Offers, go to Spotify Premium and select Manage
  4. Select Cancel
  5. Then Confirm cancellation. 

We suggest cancelling at least 1 day before your monthly subscription renews so you’re not charged for another month. 

You’ll still have access to Spotify Premium until your next billing date, or if you cancelled within an offer period, you’ll have access until the end of your offer period.

Telstra billing available to Telstra Personal customers (excl. pre-paid). To qualify for Telstra billing, customer must first cancel any existing Premium subscription held directly through Spotify. Must redeem via Spotify Premium My Offers. Month-to-month subscription, $13.99/mth from 1 August 2024. Cancel any time. Spotify Premium requires internet and compatible devices. Data charges apply.
