Minimum cost based on you staying connected to this plan for 24 months and may change if month-to-month plan price changes. If you cancel your plan within 24 months of connecting, you’ll need to payout the remaining cost of your Telstra Wi-Fi Modem calculated based on the modem cost of $9/mth and the number of months remaining in your 24 month commitment.

The Core Internet Plan is incompatible with any Speed Boosts.

Directory listing: If you don’t want your name, address or phone number printed in the White Pages® or any other Telstra directory product, you can ask for an Unlisted number. There is no charge for an Unlisted number.

Information about the service

Telstra Smart Wi-Fi Booster comes with the commitment that you will get indoor Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home. This commitment applies for the first 24 months from when you purchase the Telstra Smart Wi-Fi Booster. 

Wi-Fi speeds are measured separately to your home internet connection. Telstra Smart Wi-Fi Booster does not guarantee any particular speeds for your home internet connection.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Smart Wi-Fi Booster you need to have an eligible Telstra home internet plan.

Wi-Fi Coverage Guarantee

If you let us know you do not have Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home, we will take steps to improve your Wi-Fi Coverage. This may include providing you with additional Smart Wi-Fi Boosters (if necessary as determined by us).

If we can't improve your Wi-Fi coverage to your satisfaction, you can cancel your repayment contract for the Smart Wi-Fi Booster without paying any further repayments and will also receive a credit back of your last month's repayment.

If you paid for your Smart Wi-Fi Booster upfront, you will receive a credit equivalent to the portion of the purchase price you would have still been paying off had you chosen to purchase the device on a 24 month repayment contract, calculated from the date you reported your Wi-Fi issue to us.

We will provide you with postage paid return satchel if you are returning equipment to us.

Understanding my bill

You're billed in advance for the minimum monthly charge. Your first bill will be higher if you start your plan part way through a billing period.

Bill payment charges

Fees and charges may apply for bill delivery and payment of your invoice, depending on the method.

Upfront Plans

If you have an Upfront Internet plan and choose outright purchase, payment will be taken at the time of ordering. If the repayment option is chosen, you will be charged for the first month when the order is placed, and on the same day each month thereafter. You can view your upcoming payment dates in the My Telstra app.  

Upfront Internet customers will pay via AutoPay from a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or a bank account. See our direct debit terms for more details.
