When you join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, your access is credited monthly on your billing date. Any previously stacked credit from Xbox Live Gold and/or Xbox Game Pass will remain available for use up to a maximum of 36 months. See https://www.xbox.com/en-AU/xbox-game-pass
To manage or cancel your subscription, log into My Telstra. Navigate to Services > Extra’s > Game Pass and click “manage subscription”.
If you cancel your service that the subscription is added on to, your subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will end, unless you are entitled to additional months because you had pre-existing Game Pass Ultimate credit prior to taking up Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
