Information about the service
- What is Fetch?

Fetch is an entertainment service (Fetch Service) delivered to your TV via the internet and a Fetch set top box (STB) that enables you to access, purchase, rent or subscribe to watch third party video content via a number of different applications and subscriptions.
There are two available Fetch STB models at Telstra: the ‘Mini’ and the 'Mighty'
- Eligibility

To take up Fetch, you must meet the following:
- Have or create a Telstra Personal Account
- Have less than 3 Fetch STB existing per Personal account
- Device Information and Requirements

To use Fetch, you must have:
- an internet connection
- a free to air digital television antennae within a digital television coverage area in Australia (in order to access digital free to air content);
- a compatible television with a spare HDMI input to connect your Fetch STB;
- a wireless access point or Ethernet connection at your residence;
- and a device with internet access to activate your Fetch STB.
To access content other than digital free to air content you will need to buy one or more content subscriptions separately. There are also one-off charges payable to rent or buy access to selected content.
The download speed of your internet connection impacts the performance of your Fetch Service, and a better customer experience is more likely on higher speed internet connections. For an optimal viewing experience on your Fetch STB, we recommend a minimum internet speed of 3.5 mbps for standard definition content. For Ultra High Definition or 4K we recommend a minimum of 15 mbps. A 4K TV and 4K content are required to view in 4K.
You can only acquire the Fetch Service for private or domestic use in relation to your nominated Australian residential address. Fetch TV is not available to wholesale or small business customers or for resale.
- Data usage

Your use of Fetch, any software or firmware updates that we or our third party licensors push to your Fetch STB, and accessing and viewing content on Fetch uses data. Such data usage will be rated and deducted from the data allowance of the internet service you use with Fetch, unless an application you access or content you view on Fetch is unmetered.
- Third party content

The third party applications and content that you can access and view via the Fetch Service are not operated by us. These will vary from time to time. Use of such applications and content is subject to third party terms and conditions, including where applicable, payment terms and laws relating to copying of content. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for the availability, behaviour, content or quality of third party applications and content.
The Fetch STB only for use within Australia. Use of the Fetch Mighty to record content (including free to air TV) must be in accordance with the Copyright Act 1968. Content inclusions and pricing are subject to change. All use of the Fetch Service is subject to the Fetch General Terms of Use, available at fetch.com.au/general-terms-of-use
- Delivery and installation

We will deliver your Fetch STB to your nominated address and you are responsible for installing, and obtaining any necessary consents to install, your Fetch STB.

We will treat your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Statement, available at telstra.com.au/privacy/privacy-statement.
We and Fetch TV Pty Ltd and its associated entities may use information collected from your usage of Fetch to present you with content and offers we think may be of interest to you.

- Understanding my bill

If you choose the upfront payment option then will we bill you upfront in advance for your Fetch STB. If you chose the monthly repayment option then we will charge you the applicable monthly charge monthly in advance for 12 or 24 months, depending on which monthly repayment option you choose. We will charge you monthly in advance for any content subscriptions you activate via the Fetch service. Any one off content purchases or rentals you make will be charged to your account when you authorise the transaction on your Fetch STB.
