Microsoft Defender for Business license is available through the Telstra Apps Marketplace. You need a license for each user of the application. It can be purchased as a casual month-to-month plan, as a monthly charge over 12 months or an outright charge for 12 months.

•Microsoft Intune is required to modify or customise attack surface reduction rules. Intune can be added on to the standalone version of Defender for Business. Intune is included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium.

To take up Microsoft Defender for Business you must have and maintain a Telstra Business account and have an active ABN
- Minimum Term

30 days on a monthly plan and 1 full year on an annual plan.

The Telstra Apps Marketplace is a web-based marketplace that enables you to purchase and manage various software applications that we make available from time to time. You need an internet connection to access the Telstra Apps Marketplace. To start using the Telstra Apps Marketplace, visit marketplace.telstra.com and create an account. You may need to meet minimum system requirements to use certain applications available on the marketplace, which will be set out on marketplace.telstra.com and Our Customer Terms. You’re responsible for ensuring that you meet these requirements.

- Early Termination Charge

If you cancel Microsoft Defender for Business subscription within 7 days after purchase or renewal, you’ll be entitled to a pro-rata refund. If you request to cancel a subscription after 7 days, cancellation will be scheduled at the end of the current subscription term. You’ll be charged for the full amount of your remaining monthly or annual contract term and continue to have access to the service until the end of the subscription term.

The pricing in this Critical Information Summary is for a full billing cycle but your first bill may include pro-rata charges for part of the month if you started or changed your plan partway through a billing period.
