Here are the winners of the 2023 Telstra Best of Business Awards
For over 25 years, Telstra’s Best of Business Awards program has recognised exceptional small and medium Australian businesses, providing a platform to further their success and inspire others to strive for more.
This year over 20,000 small and medium businesses were nominated, and it’s the winners’ excellence in their respective categories as well as their dedication and perseverance in growing their businesses that has seen them rewarded.
At a gala event in Melbourne, we announced and awarded the winners of seven national categories and an overall Business of the Year winner.
The 2023 Telstra Best of Business Awards Business of the Year is:
Winyama Digital Solutions (WA)
Winyama Digital Solutions is an Indigenous owned and operated IT business, helping develop digital skills for Indigenous rangers, equipping them with cloud-based geographic information systems to manage Country and preserve traditional knowledge and culture. The consultancy is also a strong supporter of Indigenous talent seeking careers in technology.

Outstanding Growth: Valenhold (QLD)

Promoting Sustainability: FONZ (NSW)

As the 2023 Telstra Best of Business Awards Business of the Year winner, Winyama Digital Solutions will be promoted on Telstra’s signage at the footy, as well as in the broadcast during Round 3 of the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and Round 5 of the 2023 NRL Telstra Premiership Season (30 March – 2 April), reaching thousands of fans in stadiums and living rooms across Australia.
