Zetifi’s Cellular (4G/5G) Smart Antenna is a location-aware variable gain antenna for signal repeaters and cellular gateway devices that automatically switches between high and low gain modes based on GPS location, tilt or user selection. The smart antenna uses onboard sensors and processing power to automatically select the optimal gain mode based on whether you’re in flat or hilly terrain. When used with a mobile repeater, it can help maximise your mobile signal for voice and data connectivity in areas of low coverage.
The gain of an antenna influences the distance and direction that it will effectively send and receive signals. A high gain antenna produces a narrow beamwidth that is ideal for providing extra range in flat country but is less suited to hilly terrain where the wider beamwidth of a low gain antenna is often more effective. Matching an antenna’s gain pattern to the surrounding terrain is a key factor in maximising its performance and this smart antenna does it automatically.

Download the Zetifi Smart Antenna app to control and monitor the device and to update firmware and antenna terrain maps. Download the app from the App Store (for Apple users) or Google Play (for Android users) and connect to the antenna via Bluetooth.
